December:
Christmas was AWESOME! It's really hard to enjoy Christmas like I used to when it's just me and the parentals, but I got some amazing gifts, so it was totally worth it! (that totally makes me sound like a spoiled brat, who only cares about the presents. That's totally not the case! I am so grateful for that time of year, to be able to celebrate Christ and His birth. And it's a great excuse to see family more!) I have been dying to get some leather chaps, sure enough, they were under the tree this year! Now my biker image is almost complete, the only thing I'm lacking is the bike. . .I also got a jumpsuit! It's an off brand of Carharts. You know, the kind that farmers wear in the winter to help keep them warm. My dad's had a pair as long as I can remember, and I've finally been able to enjoy the warmth. Santa also brought me "Pow Pow" training!
Also this month, I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and not be blonde anymore (well actually to make a long story short, I had to go a lot darker than planned cause we had a "hair school mishap"). For almost 24 years I was blonde. It's definitely been a change going dark.
I did manage to go out on a couple dates, which is out of the norm, but they really weren't a big deal.
Here's me with my dark hair, and my friend Brittany, aka my fellow Eagles fan!
January:
I started going to school day and night, so I was at school almost 50 hours a week! On top of that I started coaching club volleyball for High Country! It's been an amazing adventure! I'll have to do a separate post all on what's gone on with that. But in short - I LOVE my team! They are the best girls EVER! We had a party and went skating at the Oval. They are really the best!

On a whim, me and a couple friends decided to drive up to Green River, Wyoming to go watch my cousin Jackson wrestle. I love that kid, he's such a stud! And my birthday was on the 21st, as per tradition, a got some friends to go to the Utah Grizzlies hockey game!

I also got to go with the youth to a Jazz game! We got these cool orange shirts that say "Boozer's Buddies"! We all had a blast! And because the Jazz won, we all got free Big Mac's!
February:
This was a busy month! Every year, for the past 4 years, I've gone out to Colorado to watch my cousins wrestle. It's a BIG deal out there. For high school state wrestling, they fill the Pepsi Center. It's unreal! It's so much fun! I love being able to support my family and spend time with them. Well this year, I told myself that I had to be finished with my hours at school or I wouldn't let myself go. Needless to say, I finished my 2000 hours the day before we took the road trip over the Rocky Mountains.
Jackson pins the kid to take 3rd in State!
Once I got back from Colorado, just a couple days later, I headed down to Vegas. Thanks to all of you that helped me go by buying bag deals, I really appreciate it. It was incredible! I learned so much! And it's Vegas. . .I LOVE Vegas!
Oh. My. Gosh! I almost forgot. . .I got to finally go to an AVP event! Hot Winter Nights came to Utah! Hannah, one of the girls that plays for me, and I went to the E Center to see them bring beach volleyball, indoors! It was SICK! I've always wanted to see an event, and now I finally was able to!

March:I started working back at the school, at the front desk. It's been fun! And now that I'm not in school on Tuesday nights, I've been able to start being there for the Laurel's more and be at mutual (I'm one of the advisers). I love my Laurel's! I've learned so much from them!
I got to go down to Flagstaff to see my sister and her family. While I was down there I cut my niece's and my sister's hair. Christina was able to donate her long blonde hair to Locks of Love!
Speaking of hair, this month it was Bingham High School's Prom. So a couple of my Laurels came to me to get their hair done-did!
This month volleyball was interesting, to say the least. We ran into a bumpy road with some major challenges. Things settled down towards the end of the month, where they had a tournament, and they completely RoCkEd it! I could not have been more proud of my girls and how well they played! lOvE tHeM! They also really like to hang out together, off the court. We've had a couple parties on the weekends, and I'm sure there is more to come. I think the talk is a sleepover next time. . .
Finally April:
The beginning of the month, the youth put on a talent show for the ward. The laurels played "Popcorn Popping" by hitting glasses of water with spoons. It was awesome!
Lately I've been spending most of my time up at the Hunstman Cancer Hospital with my family. My uncle found out he has cancer this past fall, and things have not been the best for him lately. He's been up at the Huntsman for the past four weeks. It's just been one thing after the next. But thank goodness for little miracles. I KNOW that everything happens for a reason, and I am so thankful that the "Man Upstairs" is in charge and He knows what all is going on.
As for the dating life - it's a joke! I've been stood up 4 times in one month, 3 of those times were in one week! Two of the three different guys that stood me up, I'd have to say really surprised me! Things are really getting quite comical! If you're in need of an entertaining story, just ask me about some of my dating experiences. I've recently received dating advice from my brother Gary. I'm now in the process of creating my own Party List!
So how's that for the "Reader's Digest" version? haha Sorry it's pretty bland for the most part. At least, I've updated ya'll on the life of ME! I'll probably be putting up a separate post all about my volleyball team when the season comes to an end next month. And if I get around to it, I'll make separate posts about Colorado, and Vegas too. We'll see. . .
